wTVisions played an important role in elevating the Hexagon Cup, a premier padel tournament held at Madrid Arena in Spain, between 29 January and 2 February 2025. Collaborating closely with FoxTenn - the live scoring, video referee review, and high precision data provider - wTVision delivered a comprehensive graphics package that seamlessly integrated 2D and 3D elements, providing viewers with an immersive and informative experience.
Innovative Graphics and Data Integration
To enrich the broadcast, Foxtenn, and wTVision designed new info-graphics concepts for Padel, and wTVision developed and implemented this new suite of graphics tailored to the unique dynamics of Padel. These included:
Player Position Tracking: A new graphic was introduced to display player positions during a point, highlighting strategic movements such as defensive positioning, transitions, and offensive plays.
Serve Analysis: Recognizing the distinct nature of serves in padel compared to other racket sports, wTVision developed graphics to analyze and present serve strategies, enhancing the understanding of this critical aspect of the game.
These graphics were powered by wTVision's sports software with a focus and specialization in padel, using the R³ Space Engine for the graphics ensuring high-quality visuals that complemented the dynamic nature of Padel.
wTVision's involvement spanned the entire tournament, from next-generation matches on side courts to all center-court matches. This comprehensive coverage ensured that every game was enhanced with advanced graphics and real-time data, providing a consistent and engaging experience for viewers throughout the event.
Additionally, there is the feature of having graphics in two languages to reach two different audiences – Spanish-speaking and English-speaking fans.
By providing deeper insights into the game's strategy and player performance, wTVision contributed to a more engaging and informative broadcast, fostering a greater appreciation for the sport among viewers.
Through this collaboration, wTVision demonstrated its ever-commitment to innovation in sports broadcasting, delivering a visually compelling and informative experience that set a new standard for padel tournaments worldwide.
