As part of wTVision and DAZN Portugal's longstanding partnership and their comprehensive rebrand launching in August, wTVision has prepared a cutting-edge virtual set that reflects the new visual identity of DAZN Portugal. Previously known as ELEVEN, DAZN is undergoing a complete transformation, not only changing its name but also introducing an entirely new look that extends across its entire brand.
This project includes significant updates in colors, textures, studio designs, and on-screen graphics. Every element of DAZN’s broadcasting environment—from logos and lower thirds to studio programs and production workflows—will feature this new aesthetic. The transformation will be visible in DAZN’s on-air look, with both the Production Control Room (PCR) and Master Control Room (MCR) adapting to the refreshed branding.
At the heart of this rebrand is a brand-new, immersive virtual set - Match Day - designed by wTVision using the Unreal Engine. This set has been meticulously crafted to align with DAZN’s new tones and visual identity, offering a sleek, modern stage for discussions around the world’s top football leagues. The new set delivers a dynamic backdrop for engaging studio programs.
One of the standout features of the virtual set is its versatility. It includes two side banners and a central screen, all designed to support both video and static images, allowing for seamless integration of highlights, stats, and analysis. This flexibility ensures that DAZN’s programming can remain visually engaging and responsive to the latest sports action.
By leveraging Unreal Engine, wTVision has created a virtual environment that feels more real than ever before. As DAZN’s new look rolls out, wTVision’s innovative virtual set will be at the forefront, ensuring that the brand’s transformation is as visually compelling as it is comprehensive.
