wTVision developed a virtual solution that made it possible to bring back fans to live sports, thanks to an innovative new feature that integrates video conferences and meetings into broadcasts
The Allianz Cup Final-Four, in Portugal, was able to accommodate fans back to the stands thanks to a virtual solution developed by wTVision for Liga Portugal.
Using our very own software, AR³ Football, in a combination with R³ Space Engine, wTVision’s 3D render engine, it was possible to integrate Zoom meetings, with supporters of all clubs logged in, into a Virtual Wall.
The innovative solution was used in all the matches and the competition (that brought together the four best teams in the country) was once again broadcasted live with the reaction of fans to goals, saves and wins.
Additionally, our creative team designed the Virtual Wall displayed and integrated it into the sporting event, having in mind the Allianz Cup and Liga Portugal’s identity and look.
Our operators on site made sure the Fan Wall was always ready to go on-air should the director choose to showcase the fans reactions to the highlights of the match.
This simple virtual solution, provided by a combination of wTVision’s software, was able to integrate the emotions of fans at home while keeping everyone safe.
