TV Globo and wTVision have become strategic partners and worked closely together to create and operate the international channels of the largest and most famous Brazilian TV network.

Until now, TV Globo only had a single channel for all of Europe and Africa (Portugal being the exception with 4 hours of local content per day). From now on, European and African TV viewers will have their own channels with specific content and schedules tailored to each market.

The operation service is provided by a wTVision team, and the management of the channels is performed 24/7.

This service includes the recording of transmissions, playlist importation as defined by TV Globo, preparation and content ingest, and the creation of playlists for each channel.

These channels broadcast not only recorded programs but also live news, football games, and several other shows, with only a small delay. All project development and installation were fully handled by wTVision, which used its ChannelMaker to facilitate and simplify all playout automation. ChannelMaker integrates and manages the network elements (video servers, video routers, etc.) and centralizes ingest functions, program playlists, video and graphics automation, and playout.
