wTVision and Unitecnic build a new sports channel in HD – DirecTV Plus10 de setembro de 2013
Working for Imagina US, wTVision and Unitecnic integrated ChannelMaker on a new TV channel in HD - DirecTV Plus - a sports-oriented television channel that broadcast live sports events. To launch the new channel, wTVision provided, once again, a complete integration service, offering a global solution for the whole MCR workflow. ChannelMaker, one of the most flexible playout systems of the industry, was then integrated with the following third-party technologies:
- Video Server from Grass Valley
- Video Mixer from Miranda Imagestore
- Graphics Engine from VizRT
- Video Router from Snell
- Traffic System from Fore TV
This was not the first time wTVision and Unitecnic worked with Imagina US for DirecTV. Previously, in March 2013, ChannelMaker had already been integrated in two channels (OnDirecTV HD - Showcase and OnDirecTV SD - 999).
This month, and after the project’s success, wTVision and Unitecnic upgraded the infrastructure of these two channels with wTVision’s Studio CG - a graphics controller designed to be integrated on Live Studio Production workflows.
