Playout Automation
wTVision builds the 10th TV Channel in US, using ChannelMaker7 de outubro de 2013

Less than 2 years have passed since wTVision opened its office in USA. Since then, the company has been developing projects for several well-known media groups, strengthening its position in the US broadcast market.  The month of September was marked by the customization and implementation of ChannelMaker, wTVision’s playout automation system, for the ¡Hola!TV in US and Latin America. What represents another challenge to wTVision’s development team is also a historical achievement for the company, as this is the 10th automation project implemented by wTVision US office, within its 19 months of activity in this country. Working for Imagina US, wTVision, in close collaboration with Unitecnic, supplied a range of integrated broadcast solutions to launch the new channel - ¡Hola! TV - a celebrity and lifestyle pay TV channel available in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Caribbean. wTVision integrated its playout system ChannelMaker, offering a global management solution for the whole MCR workflow. wTVision’s developers “studied” the project requirements and provided a complete integration service. wTVision’s software integrates with several industry’ third-party technologies, providing a customizable and scalable solution to meet the project’s technical needs with cost-efficiency. In ¡Hola! TV, ChannelMaker was integrated with:
  • Video Server - Harris Nexio
  • Video Mixer - Harris Icon Master
  • Video Router - Snell Cygnus
  • MAM System - Vizrt
  • Traffic System - Broadway Systems
The architecture of ¡Hola! TV also includes redundancy of the ChannelMaker Playout for the channel in HD.
