InterTV, a network affiliated with the Brazilian giant Globo, relied on wTVision to set up the PCR automation workflow that facilitates live newscasts.

At the heart of this easily manageable automation is StudioCG, wTVision’s powerful solution to manage and control on-air graphics and videos, from one single interface. Studio CG controls R³ Space Engine (real-time 3D graphics engine) to generate the broadcast graphics, creating a complete PCR workflow based on wTVision’s software.

Another major feature of this project is Studio CG integration with the newsroom computer system (NRCS) ANEWS. The efficient combination of the two systems allows journalists, producers and operators to search for media and graphics, select graphic templates, add them to the rundown, fill in data and preview the output in real time.

wTVision and InterTV will continue to expand their automation processes in the next few months, with the goal of reducing human error, save time and resources in the production of each live show and improve the experience to the audience.
