For the 2023 legislative election in Portugal, wTVision introduced an enhanced "magic wall" solution that transformed election coverage for CNN Portugal and its partner TVI. This web-based tool ensured interactivity and real-time data updates throughout the electoral event.

Assigned to handle CNN Portugal's election coverage, wTVision developed a customized touchscreen solution specifically tailored to the Portuguese electoral context. The objective was to provide viewers with a fresh perspective on the electoral process, highlighting unique aspects of Portuguese voting while boosting viewer engagement during extensive broadcast hours.

The 2024 election graphics underwent a restyling by our creative team, focusing on producing graphics for three LED walls, the Live Bar, augmented reality, and full-screen displays. wTVision integrated augmented reality graphics featuring four distinct Portuguese cities as backgrounds, enhancing the broadcast's immersive and inclusive nature.

The "magic wall" solution empowered journalists to command the broadcast, delivering real-time data to audiences through an intuitive touchscreen interface. This interactive tool allowed journalists to zoom in on specific regions of Portugal, analyze party dynamics, compare current results with past elections, and even simulate potential parliamentary majorities. Additionally, sophisticated design elements facilitated highlighting critical data points and candidates, offering viewers insightful analysis throughout election night.

wTVision's team enhanced the "magic wall" solution with an explainer on the Hondt Method and showcased the evolution of party votes throughout the elections using a slider tool.
